The Inbox is your default task list in Todoist. When you add a task, it goes straight to your Inbox unless you specify that the task goes into a project. A project is a task list that you create yourself. You give a project a name and can then add as many tasks as you’d like. You can also set a project’s color or share projects with your teammates. Select the 'Inbox' in Todoist; Add all your uncompleted tasks; Use the Trigger Sheet to assist (see below) Drag and move tasks in Inbox to the respective project folders; Drop items into Todoist as you go across your day; Process the inbox once or twice a day. To add a task to your Inbox, grab the nearest Todoist app – on your desktop, phone, watch, or otherwise – click or tap the add task + sign, type in your task name, and save the task. Easily forward your emails from any email client to Todoist to add them as tasks or comments. Forwarding to projects. You can turn your emails into Todoist tasks by forwarding them to a project. The subject line will become the task name, and the body of the email will be added as a comment. All attachments smaller than 25MB will also be attached.

Todoist is a really fantastic service. It’s more fully featured than Wunderlist, but it’s a lot easier for new users than OmniFocus.
Email Tasks To Todoist
One of my most used features from both Wunderlist and OmniFocus was the ability to send tasks from email. Wunderlist’s approach was based on the email coming from a certain email address, and OmniFocus has a “mail drop” feature using a randomly assigned email address. Both of them worked well, but they were also lacking in some functionality. Todoist takes this feature one step further.
Open your inbox (or the project you want to the ability to email tasks into), click the pencil and wrench icon on the top right side, and click Email tasks to this project (this menu is not available on iOS).

You’ll then see a custom email address for this project. The great thing is that each project can have its own email address. In OmniFocus, I would just send everything to the inbox for processing later. With this feature in Todoist, I can actually process everything right from the email before I send it. Attachments are also supported (up to 25MB).

Select Delete from Device. Note: Preinstalled apps can't be removed, but can be organized on your home screen. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall. Uninstall from the Settings page. Select Start, then select Settings Apps Apps & features. Or just click the shortcut link at the bottom of this article. Select the app you want to remove, and then select Uninstall. Delete apps.
Here are some syntax examples that you can use to automatically assign due dates to tasks (these can be in the subject or the body):

Emailing tasks to projects does require a premium subscription, but it’s well worth it for the additional value you get from the app. You also get several other features with the premium subscription, like the ability to add notes and reminders to your tasks, filter tasks, and more.
